Sprouting Is Easy

Soak for 6-8 hours and rinse 3 times a day.

Experts say that sprouts vary in the length of soak time, but I haven’t really notice a big difference in batches soaked for 6 hours versus batches soaked for 8-12. I find that if you have a good growing device, details become a little forgiving and you can “fudge” the numbers.

Trust in abundance and experiment.

The following is a progression of “Red Lentil” sprouts growing in a small glass jar. Red lentil may not be the most nutritious, but they look pretty in these videos.

This last video shows green in the leafs because I put them in the sun for the final phase of growth before I feast! Give your sprouts some sun to create chlorophyll and enjoy the nutritional value.
