New Favorite Jar for Sprouting

In my effort to get away from plastic, I causally looked for a larger glass alternative. I found this at a local “grocery store”.  Glass is now my “first call”!

The glass looks nicer, I can get chlorophyl all the way though (not just the top), and I don’t worry about leaching plastics.

How good of quality is the plastic? What numbers are best? I heard it was the number “1” or “2” inside of the recycle symbols that indicates the quality of plastic. This is under the assumption that the good quality plastic does not leech. How about I just, “google it”…

It looks like “2” inside the recycle symbol indicates the best type of plastic to be re-using.

 I found this jar at a local grocery store. It’s organic! (jk)
