I can’t have Bitcoin buttons?!?!

I really tried to use the button from Coinbase, but for some reason I can’t get it to work on my WordPress posts and widgets. All I get are these links like you see here:

My links seem to function just fine, but the look is so 1999.

Maybe I should just take a screen shot, crop it, add it as an image and make it clickable as a link to my… uh… Gitcoin?
